EuropaProperty has concluded its 21st annual SEE Real Estate Awards at the InterContinental Athénée Palace Hotel in Bucharest, maintaining its long-standing tradition of excellence. The event, hailed as a resounding success, saw AFI Romania, BIG CEE, Vastint, and NHOOD clinch multiple awards across investment, development, and project categories, reaffirming its stature as a pivotal event in the region’s real estate landscape.
Granit Asset Management emerged as a standout winner, recognised for the Investment Deal of the Year following its acquisition of Equilibrium 1 & 2 in Romania from Skanska, highlighting the region’s continued appeal as a secure and attractive investment destination. BIG CEE was named Investor of the Year, in addition to securing Retail Developer of the Year, underlining its strong regional growth and strategic expansion.
AFI Romania earned top honours as Office Developer. At the same time, its landmark project, AFI Central Tower, was awarded Future Office Project, showcasing the company’s continued delivery of high-quality, future-focused office developments. ELI Parks reinforced its market leadership by being named Warehouse Developer.
Amid the growing importance of the residential sector, Alesonor Real Estate Development was named Residential Developer, recognised for its visionary approach to sustainable communities. Its flagship project, Amber Forest AGORA, was awarded Future Mixed-use Project, further cementing its reputation as a pioneer in innovative urban living.
Major project awards highlighted the market’s diversity and strength. Cartier Coresi by NHOOD Romania secured Mixed-use Project, while Nusco City Phase II was recognised as Residential Project, and AFI Home North by AFI Romania won Future Residential Project. In the retail sector, H Stirbei Palace by Hagag Development was awarded Retail Project of the Year, while Lion’s Head Logistics Park took Warehouse Project, reflecting continued momentum in the logistics and industrial sector.
Retail continues to thrive in the region, with Kaufland receiving both the ESG Leadership Award and Retailer of the Year, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. The Sustainable Project Award was presented to Business Garden Bucharest by Vastint Romania, recognised as a benchmark for environmentally responsible office development. BITMAIN was honoured with the Energy Innovation Award for its advancements in energy solutions.
Across professional and service categories, Griffes was awarded Agency of the Year, Raiffeisen Bank was named Bank of the Year, and Bog’Art received Construction Firm of the Year. Coral Companies secured the Facility Management Firm Award, while Wolf Theiss was recognised as Law Firm of the Year. NHOOD Services Romania was named Professional Service Provider, and Vitalis Consulting took the Project Management Firm Award. GTC was awarded Property Management Firm of the Year, SINGU received the Proptech Innovation Provider Award, and Hotspot was named Serviced Offices Provider.
Individual excellence was also recognised, with Antoniu Panait of Vastint Romania named Professional of the Year, highlighting his leadership and contribution to the industry. In the lifestyle segment, M Pipera Plaza by M Core received the Lifestyle Award, reflecting the growing importance of experience-led retail destinations.
